The Boston Cannons defeated the Chesapeake Bayhawks, who eliminated the Cannons in the semifinals of last season’s MLL playoffs en route to winning the championship.

Rabil did not disappoint. The 6-foot-3-inch, 220-pound midfielder had five goals and two assists as the Cannons handed Chesapeake its first loss of the season, 17-13, before a record 10,727 fans at Harvard Stadium.

The 100-year old Harvard Stadium was the world's first massive reinforced concrete structure and the first large arena for collegiate athletics. It is home for Harvard Lacrosse.
