
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) SoCal Blue team ended up winning the high school division, while the Fellowship of Christian Athletes SoCal Orange Team, coached by SCHS varsity head coach Glen Miles, were semi-finalists. SCHS lacrosse student athletes competing included Bennett Jonas, Chris Kazimi, Robbie Burns, Aaron Blanchard, Peyton Garrett, Walter Wakeman, Aaron Self, Brett Miller, David Anthony, Trevor Forsyth, Max Satossky, Stone Sims, Austin Streeter and Jonathan Kassity.

San Juan Capistrano defenseman Winston Robinson, and fellow St. Margaret’s Episcopal School lacrosse players Scott McGowan (Newport Beach, defense) and Peyton Garrett (San Clemente, attackman), 14, were in Tampa, Fla., this past weekend helping their club lacrosse team win the U-15 club national championship at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions, Jan. 1-3. The trio play for the FCA club team from Baltimore, Md., which also won last summer’s Vail Shootout.
