The University of Montana Men’s Lacrosse Team has won the Griz Fall Shootout for the first time since the Fall of 2008 behind returning veterans, a strong defense, and a talented class of Freshman. The tournament championship against Gonzaga game was played in the normal format of 4 quarters instead of the running halves of the previous tournament games. Montana won convincingly after losing to Gonzaga the previous Spring, opening the game with a large lead and finishing with a 9-6 win.
