The University of Oregon men’s lacrosse team is proud to announce the hiring of
Phil Keebler as its new head coach. This news is the fruition of a nationwide coaching search that spanned several months.

“We are extremely excited about this hiring. Coach Keebler brings a high level of knowledge and expertise to the position; we believe he can take the program to another level in regards to both level of play and administrative efficiency,” says Ryan O’Rourke, the team’s head administrator.

Keebler is a 2009 graduate of Sonoma State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. I embrace the challenge of the task at hand. I am very excited to get to work,” said Keebler with respect to his newest coaching position.

The new coach is excited to a different perspective to the Pacific Northwest’s premier collegiate lacrosse program and hopes to further the team’s image in the lacrosse world.
