Ohio St. downed ALC foe Vanderbilt, a week after losing to unanimous No. 1 Northwestern in overtime.

Cal Poly grabbed all 14 first-place votes this week, outkicking BYU for the top spot in the MCLA coaches poll. The Cougars are followed by UCSB and Colorado State with Chapman rounding out the Top 5. Who's Hot? Colorado: Did BYU look past the Buffs? If they did, they paid the price, and sent CU up the charts. Simon Fraser: The Clansmen gave Texas a rude dismissal from the Pacific Northwest and jumped up to No. 20.
