The 8th annual High Rollers program will take place November 20th-21st. Once again, the Clinic Directors will be Notre Dame Coaches and NCAA runners up Kevin Corrigan & Gerry Byrne. Whittier Head Coach Brian Kelly will serve as program director.
Coronado has long been known for its top ranked beaches, picturesque sunsets and warm and welcoming community flavor. This small “Island” is only 7.5 square miles and 2 miles across the bay from downtown San Diego. After years of development, Coronado has more recently become one of the epicenters of western lacrosse.
The 2009 Islanders Varsity team finished ranked #1 in the West and #24 in the country. Mitts have been replaced by sticks, fields are riddled with lacrosse goals with tattered nets and if you look in any bush in the neighborhood you are likely to find a lacrosse ball. This “Lacrosse Island” provides for a perfect setting for the next Adrenaline Primetime Recruiting Event, the coveted High Rollers program.
As per usual, this event will see the top players from every pocket of lacrosse in the West gather in one place to compete for 2 days in front of 40-50 NCAA & MCLA recruiters. While the Adrenaline Showcase, the first part of the two part Adrenaline Premier Recruiting Event Series, which takes place in July at Sonoma State University, is the most exclusive event in the west, High Rollers comes in at a close second.
This exclusive program has players whom are invited based off of college and high school coaches’ recommendations. Players hail from; Western Canada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Minnesota, Colorado, Nevada, California, Texas, Missouri & Arizona.
