How do I approach college coaches about my chances in admissions?

I suggest a tactful approach. For select academic, non athletic scholarship schools, the recruiting strategy is a bit different. The “brass ring” is not in the acquisition of scholarship money as much as it is for the potential support the college coach can lend the prospect in admissions. By developing a sincere and personal relationship and providing the college coach with the necessary information he needs to do an accurate academic and athletic evaluation will be and ongoing process. From here, let the relationship play out one step at a time.
