
From San Francisco, California is Carlton Fisher. A three year varsity lacrosse player at California powerhouse St. Ignatius Prep, Fisher finished his high school career with a 58-2 overall record. As a senior, he was team captain and co-MVP. He was also the leading scorer for his high school, and earned All-American honors his senior year. Fisher is also a member of the Semper Fi Club. A midfielder from Newport Beach, California, Noah Molnar is a two-time All-American selection from Corona del Mar High School. In his senior season, in addition to his All-American selection, Molnar was CDMHS Player of the Year, Orange County Player of the Year, Pacific Coast League MVP, and the 12th ranked senior in the west by westsidelax.com. In 2008, Molnar was also named Pacific Coast League MVP, as well as a 2008 High Roller, Adrenaline Shootout All Star, First-Team All-County, CDMHS MVP, and also earned an All-American nomination. His freshman and sophomore seasons, Molnar was an OCLA all-star, was named First-Team All-Pacific Coast League, First-Team All-County, and CDMHS Midfielder of the Year. Molnar is a two-sport athlete, earning First-Team All-Pacific Coast League honors in football, in addition to breaking the school record for most interceptions in a game with four in 2007. Smith Family Head Lacrosse Coach Kevin Cassese welcomed a talented group of newcomers to the Mountain Hawks program this semester as 14 student-athletes set foot on the Lehigh campus to begin their college careers. Cassese has attracted talent that spans six states, including California, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and includes four All-Americans.
“There is a lot of excitement surrounding this group of freshmen,” Cassese commented. “It is a large group, it is a diverse group and it is a talented group. I have been impressed by the strength of character and overall leadership abilities that the members of this class have demonstrated over the course of their high school careers and during their short time on campus here at Lehigh. I look forward to working closely with them individually and collectively during their careers as Mountain Hawks.”
