College Lacrosse Recruiting: High School Lacrosse Prospect Initiating Contact With College Lacrosse Coaches Are Permitted To Talk Prior To July 1 Following Junior Year

victorycollegiateconsultingCan college coaches discuss recruiting with prospects prior to July 1 following the junior year in high school?

Yes they can!  Again, as long as the prospect initiates the contact, coaches are permitted to talk about “everything under the sun” with prospects, including recruiting. And trust me, they will do everything they can to answer all of your questions, especially if you are considered a potential “direct impact player.” The rule of thumb here is to “initiate” contact with the coaches!
