TOM KOVIC OF VICTORY COLLEGIATE CONSULTING GAVE A RECRUITING SEMINAR TO PARENTS AND STUDENT-ATHLETES AT FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL, SANTA ANA, CA ON TUESDAY EVENING, NOVEMBER 4. TEN ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUBS HELPED SPONSOR THE SEMINAR WHICH WAS ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 100 PEOPLE. MORE SEMINARS ARE PLANNED FOR THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION AND OTHER WESTERN STATES.
“Every presentation I do is different, depending on the audience participation. I have lectured on college recruiting over 250 times in nearly 3 years and typically “carry” the presentation from start to finish. The Foothill presentation was unlike any I have done
before and I was flooded with a wave of excellent questions and shared input. It was truly a collaborative and interactive effort by everyone in the room to contribute to an important topic that directly affects our kids. When I noticed a few people getting up to leave the theatre, I got nervous. I then looked at my watch and noticed it was 7:30 and my hour was up. I was just getting started!”
